Laundry Love

At St. Michael’s-on-the-Heights, we believe that love shows up in the small things—like clean clothes and a warm welcome. Through our partnership with Laundry Love, led by Deacon Dianne Wilson, we help neighbors in need wash away more than just dirt. We offer dignity, compassion, and community—one load at a time.

Each month, volunteers from St. Michael’s gather at a local laundromat to cover the cost of laundry for individuals and families who are struggling financially. It’s more than a ministry—it’s a movement of grace, where stories are shared, burdens are lightened, and everyone is reminded they matter.

Worcester Fellowship

Through the faithful leadership of Deacon Dianne Wilson, St. Michael’s-on-the-Heights actively supports the ministries of Worcester Fellowship and Thursday Café—two powerful expressions of Christ’s love in action.

Worcester Fellowship is an outdoor church community that gathers with those experiencing homelessness or isolation, offering worship, pastoral care, and friendship. On Sunday afternoons, volunteers from St. Michael’s and other area churches join in worship and fellowship, helping to serve meals and build relationships rooted in dignity and grace.

On Thursdays, we also support Thursday Café, held at All Saints Episcopal Church. This ministry provides hot meals, clothing, toiletries, and a warm, welcoming space for anyone in need. It’s a place where stories are honored, burdens are shared, and every guest is reminded of their sacred worth.

Whether preparing meals, offering a listening ear, or simply showing up with love, our parishioners embody the Gospel call to serve “the least of these” with humility and joy.
